With just a few weeks to go to the Island Water World Grenada Sailing Week 29 Jan to 3 Feb 2015, things are heating up for an especially spicy event, both on and off the water. 21 boats from 9 different countries are already registered and many more have expressed their intention to do so.

New for  the 2015 edition:

Not only the Racing Class, but also the Racer Cruiser Class boats will have the option of flying spinnaker with applicable rating. There will be a one design J24 Class with courses to suit – 6 boats from Antigua, St Lucia, Barbados and Trinidad are already signed up. Class 40 boats are also being encouraged to register and will have some long courses around Grenada to get their teeth into. Courses have also been specially tailored for theClassic Class, which was introduced last year.

As always there will be great after race entertainment at the two host venues, Port Louis Marina and Prickly Bay Marina and this year there will be an all inclusive Grenada Sailing Week Music Fest with 4 bands playing on the Saturday night at Virgin Bay (just before Lay Day so serious racers can also party seriously).

Deadline for early registration at a very reasonable fee of US$90 is 31 December 2014, so register on line today at www.grenadasailingweek.com
