NOTICE OF RACE
SUNDAY November 9th 2015
1/ Rules:
1.1 The Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2014 – 2016
1.2 The CSA Safety Requirements will apply
2/ Fees:
2.1 Price for season: $185
2.2 Per race: $35
Note: Strictly DNR for boats not paid. Payment can be made online at: https://secure.cdl.vg/smyc_pay/secure_pay
3/ Schedule:
3.1 Skipper’s Information will be sent via Email on Saturday 8th Nov 2014
3.2. Date of Racing: Sunday November 9th 2014. First start: Simpson Bay—not before 10am.
Note: Bridge Times are: Outbound: 8.30am / 10:30am & 4:00pm
Inbound: 9:30am / 11:30am / 3:00pm & 5:00pm
4/ Contact:
The Race Committee will be on VHF channel 68 the day of the racing.
5/ Classes & Measurements:
Classes will be:
Spinnaker: CSA Rating 2013 applies – stands for the series
Non-Spinnaker Class: CSA. Rating 2013 – stands for the Series.
Multihull: St. Maarten Multihull Handicap
6/ Sailing Instructions:
The Sailing Instructions will be sent via Email on Saturday 8th Nov 2014
7/ Venue:
The venue for the races shall be the coastal waters off St. Maarten
8/ Courses:
The courses will be described in the Sailing Instructions.
They will depend on the wind and the number of competitors.
Competitors will be emailed the courses on the Saturday 8th Nov 2014
9/ Races:
9.1 There are 6 Keelboat races, but Course de L’Alliance, St Maarten Heineken Warm Up, Anguilla Regatta and Capt Oliver’s Regatta also count for the overall series.
9.2 Individual races are open to visiting Yachts
9.3 Prize Giving will be held at the SMYC at 4:00pm for the ‘’Boat of the Year’’ trophy — Sunday June 7th
