The Sint Maarten Yacht Club welcomes sailors to sail in the 7th edition of Bart’s Bash!
Bart’s Bash is a global sailing event taking place at hundreds of venues, with thousands of sailors in different classes of boats around the world. Bart’s Bash is one of the Andrew Simpson Foundation’s (ASF) key charitable events.
This year we would like to raise funds for scholarships for three of the local kids that were enrolled in our Sailing Summer Camp (due to the general donations collected at our AGM). They would love to keep on sailing, but cannot do that without funding. A parent of one of the students commented after Summer Camp: “this has been life changing for him”.
We will need to raise $1920 to enroll these three kids in a year of lessons.

Possibilities for fundraising are getting your boat sponsored, baking cookies and selling them during the day or contact us with your own idea. We will also have a 50/50 raffle after prize giving.
All donations will go towards the sailing scholarships for these kids.
