CONGRATULATIONS MAH JONG on winning the 2018 Classic Boat Award for Restoration of the Year (over 40’ LOD)! Extensive restoration work in 2017 by Gannon and Benjamin of Vineyard Haven on this 57’ Cheoy Lee Yawl, built in 1957 and owned by Pat Ilderton, already won her the Sparkman & Stephens Award for Excellence in Yacht Restoration at Mystic Seaport last year.
CONGRATULATIONS are also in order to Ross Gannon and his team for their consistently high quality work and dedication. A redesign and rebuild were completed with a new deck, dog house and trunk cabin as well as a brand new interior. Myles Therlow provided new spars and Bob Sperry new sails.
We look forward to seeing MAH JONG make her debut at the Classics on 18 April
and wish her every success in the Concours d’Elégance.
