The National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS) is the premier event for sailing education in the United States. The NSPS is the only conference of its kind that brings together program directors, instructors, volunteers and industry representatives to share and learn best practices from one another about running, maintaining and improving sailing programs. The goal of the NSPS is to have participants coming out of the symposium with ideas to apply to their sailing programs, make them better and helping them grow.

Since the NSPS event began in 1984, thousands of attendees have taken advantage of this unique opportunity to examine and improve their sailing curriculums, their business practices and their organisational missions. Delegates at the NSPS event benefit from spending guided and focused time networking with peers, learning from industry leaders and representatives of equipment manufacturers, as well as receiving keynote presentations from some of the most accomplished and best known sailing experts in the world.

Learn, Share, Thrive is the theme for the 2019 National Sailing Programs Symposium. The focus of the 2019 event is on building better leaders through collaboration, growing diversity and inclusion in the sport, while inspiring others.
