Sailing Instructions Tuesday 23rd October, 2018

Notice to Competitors – Amendment to the Notice of Race No. 1 Monday 22nd October, 2018:

Delete NoR 6.1 and replace with:

“Sailing Instructions and description of courses to be sailed will be made available prior to the event and distributed to all formally registered event participants on or immediately prior to registration.”

Delete NoR 8.1 and replace with:

8.1 “For the Optimist Class  Rule 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

Delete NoR 9.2 (a) and 9.2 (b) and replace with:

9.2 (a)  When fewer than five (5) races have been completed,  will be the total of her race scores.

9.2 (b)  When five (5) or more races have been completed, the total of her race scores excluding the worst score.

Add NoR 9.2 ( c) :

9.2 ( c) When ten (10) or more races have been completed, the total of her race scores excluding the two worst scores.

Delete NoR 9.3 and replace with:

9.3 The CSA Caribbean Dinghy Championship (CDC) Trophy will be awarded to the winning team with the lowest combined rank from each of the five (5) classes.

Delete NoR 9.4 and replace with:

9.4  For any classes where a team does not have a competitor entered, they shall be scored in that class two (2)  places more than the last placed competitor in that class.

Delete NoR 9.6 and replace with:

9.6 Three (3) races will constitute a series.

To enter, please complete the  entry form below and email to  events@yachtclub.ag no later than August 1, 2018.  Confirmation of entry and entry fee payment must be received by the Organizing Authority by September 12, 2018. Click here for the Notice of Race.
