Is your organization interested in implementing a STEM & Sailing Education program? There has been interest from several CSA members in delivering the US Sailing ‘Reach’ Initiative (link here).

The National Sailing Academy (NSA) in Antigua has offered to serve as a pilot program host for a two-day Reach Program Educator training course for sailing instructors and/or volunteers in the Caribbean region interested in running Reach programming at your sailing center. The cost to attend the two day course is $150 USD, which includes two days of instruction, a copy of the Reach Program Student Logbook and a the Reach Program Instructor Guide (Modules 1-10). The NSA has graciously offered to provide complimentary onsite accommodation for all course attendees and will also provide all meals.

Together with the NSA we have identified June 11th & 12th as potential dates for the course to take place if there is enough interest from CSA members in sending participants.

We would like to have your responses to a dedicated survey (link below) regarding your interest in this course and the dates we have proposed. Please respond with your comments on or before April 20th.
