About the Conference

For 2024, the event will be held in Antigua from May 30 to June 2nd. Members can register for the AGM and ROC by filling in the form here.

May 30 is arrival afternoon and a welcome dinner . The Annual General Meeting takes place on Friday morning, and the the Regatta Organisers Conference then starts after lunch and continues through Saturday and Sunday.

The Conference

The conference usually consists of three days; the Annual General Meeting on day one, followed by two days of discussion, presentations and strategising about regatta organisation, marketing, race management measurement and sailing development.

In previous years speakers have included Peter Holmberg, representatives from Sailors for the Sea, Tim Cross as World Sailing Caribbean regional coordinator and many of the organisers and race managers from across the region. The conference is a fantastic opportunity to discuss concerns, pitch ideas and seek support from peers, sponsors and industry stakeholders.

Who is Eligible?

The Conference is open to members of the CSA from across the region and is attended by regatta directors, marketeers, measurers, yacht club managers, sailing programme managers, other members and professionals within the industry.

The 2024 edition will take place from May 30 – June 2, 2024.

Any organisations who are not members and would like to take part can review the membership opportunities. Any individuals or businesses interested in sponsorship opportunities including presenting at the conference  are welcome to get in touch on alison@caribbean-sailing.com to discuss options.
