The Swan 601 is a high performance racer, with aesthetic flair, contemporary interiors and leading technology. Often referred to as elegant and graceful, she is also a very capable and highly desirable boat, for both cruising and racing. The hull shape, drawn by German Frers, is designed with ultimate speed in mind. With a full carbon construction and modest displacement it makes for a light responsive yacht.Her size is 8.35m (60.2 ft).

Construction utilises full raceboat technology, extensive use of carbon fiber throughout and the SPRINT resin-infusion system for the deck brought the first hull out of the mold at just 2,200 pounds. That's just 5 percent of the yacht's total sailing weight resulting in top performance. The deck layout on this innovative design is a real winner with crews, if only because of the lack of toerails that cut into the back of their legs when hiking out.
