The St. Croix Yacht Club has recently come out with a news release on the 2013 edition of the St. Croix International Regatta:
This year promises to be even better than last year. The schedule of races has changed – so Read our NOR on our website: www.stcroixyc.com. The regatta committee had tons of feedback from last year’s event in regards to how many days to race. We had sailors who can only commit to 2 Days of Racing and then there are those who want All 3 Days of Racing. We have changed our format to accommodate all.
There will be 3 days of Racing – Friday November 15th will be a One Day Event – lots of Racing and Great Awards. Saturday and Sunday, November 16th and 17th, will be our 2nd Regatta – also with Great racing and prizes. Plus, any Class with7 or more boats racing Saturday and Sunday, will compete for the ultimate prize of the winning Skipper’s weight in Rum. All awards will be given out on Sunday afternoon.
On Shore – Live Bands, good food and drink and of course Crucian Hospitality. Cheap accommodations can be had, if you register Early- Registration is ONLY $150.
