From February 13th to 17th 2015, the Nautical Circle of Schœlcher in Martinique, organizes the 25th edition of the International Nautical Week of Schœlcher, under the patronage of Jocelyne Béroard. This international light yacht regatta is an event not-to-be-missed in the local and international sporting arena, scheduled on the official calendar of major nautical events of the French Sailing Federation.
Roughly one hundred foreign competitors of international stature will travel from Europe, the Americas, and from the islands of the Caribbean to measure themselves and compete with our Martinican racers of dinghies, sport catamarans, Tempests and wind surfs.

Through this event, the Nautical Circle of Schœlcher also wishes to contribute to promoting the tourism product of Martinique while strengthening ties with the other countries of the Caribbean. It is in this perspective of a «Nautical Martinique » that the event recently earned the label of MARTINIQUE SAILING DAYS presented to the press at the end of January 2015 : an original initiative through the Regional Council of Martinique, the Martinique Tourism Committee (CMT in French) and stakeholders of the nautical sector which clearly illustrates the dynamism and wealth of the nautical sector’s offering in Martinique.

The 25th International Nautical Week of Schœlcher, with its solid experience in the area of sailboat racing, leverages the diversity of activities (dinghies, windsurfing, sport catamarans) and adds new attractions this year, in particular on the water, with a departure from the borough of Schœlcher for Rowing regattas and Kayak regattas.
