Fighting Against Brain and Spinal Cord Disorders

The understanding and treatment of neurological diseases and traumas is one of the world’s most challenges issues for the 21st century. Today, these neurological disorders affect nearly one billion people worldwide, and with the aging of the population, this number will only increase.

The organizers of Les Voiles de Saint-Barth, in collaboration with the Collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy, have decided to support the scientific objectives of the ICM Foundation, which seeks to understand the causes and mechanisms of major diseases of the nervous system, and to offer specific new treatments in the short term.

“What unites us is the importance of the challenge we are undertaking. That is, to provide solutions for brain and spinal cord diseases. We are proud to sponsor this solidarity event that will give the teams at the ICM the means of excellence in research enable people around the world to remain free.”
