The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) is thrilled to announce the launch of its five-year calendar for the Caribbean based International Regattas from 2026 to 2030. This initiative aims to bring together competitive yachts and high-performance sailors, both professional and Corinthian, one-design fleets, race charters and bareboat charters, cruisers and ralliers in the winter months where perfect conditions, warm temperatures, and ideal winds await!
2026 see some significant calendar changes. Notably, the BVI Spring Regatta has moved two weeks earlier on the calendar to take place from March 23rd to March 29th, and Antigua Sailing Week has announced a new separate event, Antigua Racing Cup, scheduled for April 9th to 12th. These adjustments allow competitive boats to complete their Caribbean campaigns by mid-April, ensuring they can return in time for their scheduled summer regattas. Antigua Sailing Week itself, is returning to its roots in a new 4 day format. Sailing point to point around Antigua, there will be cruising classes & rally options. It joins the Caribbean Multihull Challenge & Rally offering a distinctive cruisers focused event format.
Of the upcoming Caribbean racing season, President Bastien Pouthier says, “ We are very proud of being able to provide a full and coordinated calendar of our racing events in the Caribbean. It is quite a challenge to line up all events within a reasonable time frame that will work for most competitors. Only the Caribbean provides such an effort at an international level.   “.
In an effort to satisfy every team and competitors, the BVI Spring Regatta, the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, Grenada Sailing Week, St. Thomas International Regatta & the new Antigua Racing Cup will offer dual scoring CSA/IRC. Each regatta determines which classes IRC will be offered in.
