Gill Technical Gear for the 36th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta available in stores

The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is pleased to once again offer event branded technical gear by Gill for the 36th edition of the regatta. This innovative clothing brand offers sailors the protection they need while out on the race course. UV protection combined with weatherproof fabrics offer much needed coverage in what can be very warm and sunny conditions. The regatta is happy to be able to offer a wide variety of choices to its participants.

“Technical apparel is such a specialty product and we find it extremely important to offer our participants the best possible options available. That is why our relationship with Gill is something we value and we look forward to many more years of great technical gear” said regatta director Michelle van der Werff.

The regatta branded line for 2016 offers a large selection of technical UV shirts, both short and long sleeve, as well as lightweight jackets designed to keep you cool and protected while out in the elements. Technical shorts and sailing caps as well as regatta branded backpacks will be a welcome addition to any sailors closet. A selection of beautiful colours and a variety of choices for both men and women make it easy to find something for every taste and budget.

The technical gear can be purchased at all Budget Marine locations, during registration at the Saint Maarten Yacht Club, at all venue locations and online. The selection sells rather quickly as limited quantities are produced, so it’s best to get your technical gear early.
