Peter Holmberg wins his weight in Mumms Champagne

It’s October 1992, the first St Croix International Regatta.

Sixty nine Caribbean boats competed for the winning skipper’s weight in champagne.

Olympic silver medalist Peter Holmberg and his bad boys from St Thomas on Team Heineken dominated the racing spinnaker fleet.

Some things have changed – awards are no longer presented at a formal dinner, requiring jacket and tie – we now do it barefoot on the beach.

Two things haven’t changed – November 2017 is the 25th St Croix International Regatta and Peter Holmberg continues to be an internationally recognized top sailor!

Join us for the 25th anniversary of the St Croix International Regatta,

November 10 – 12, 2017

Entry is just $150
