Name: Tamsin Rand
Island: British Virgin Island

Q: How did you get into Sailing?

A: I grew up sailing in the UK from the age of 5 enjoying racing, cruising and teaching dinghy sailing. Working as the manager of the Royal BVI Yacht Club on Tortola since 2015 I first came to the British Virgin Islands on a delivery from France in 1996 and took a job teaching sailing for the Club.

Returning to the UK I worked for 13 years at World Sailing which took me to three Olympic Games and numerous World Championships and World Cup events around the world. I joined the CSA family as a member of the Development Committee which naturally compliments my work with the RBVIYC youth sailing program.
