US Sailing Reach Educator Course proposal for CSA members
Is your organization interested in implementing a STEM & Sailing Education program? There has been interest from several CSA members in delivering the US Sailing ‘Reach’ Initiative (link here). Â
The National Sailing Academy (NSA) in Antigua has offered to serve as a pilot program host for a two-day Reach Program Educator training course for sailing instructors and/or volunteers in the Caribbean region interested in running Reach programming at your sailing center. The cost to attend the two day course is $150 USD, which includes two days of instruction, a copy of the Reach Program Student Logbook and a the Reach Program Instructor Guide (Modules 1-10). The NSA has graciously offered to provide complimentary onsite accommodation for all course attendees and will also provide all meals.
Together with the NSA we have identified June 11th & 12th as potential dates for the course to take place if there is enough interest from CSA members in sending participants.
We would like to have your responses to a dedicated survey (link below) regarding your interest in this course and the dates we have proposed. Please respond with your comments on or before April 20th.
