A VERY STRONG SHOWING OF TREMENDOUS SUPPORT.
We are all one in ISAF and it is time for a change so that ALL of our Member Nations feel represented and heard. I pledge to you that I will promote unity and efficiency, empower our MNAs and their sailors, and enhance sailing on all continents. We will implement modern communication tools and translation facilities to encourage dialogue at all levels amongst all of us within ISAF. MNAs will be involved in transparent voting on ISAF’s significant decisions. Open electronic meetings will be instituted and training/educational materials will be accessible electronically. The Olympic Games will continue to be a pinnacle of our competitive sport. ISAF must support special events andassure their integrity and impartiality. Our youth and disabled sailors must receive more attention, as well as leisure and offshore sailing. I pledge to you my commitment to excellence and fairness and will be approachable and available. I ask for your support as we bring sailing into the future. Remember, for your vote to count you must physically have a delegate present in Ireland on November 10, 2012.
